Seamus Turner and the 48’s are a country infused rock band named after Florida State Road 48 and comprised of Seamus Turner (guitar/vocals), Pat Mooney (bass), Mark Pollera (drums), and Elliott Countess (lead guitar). The picturesque countryside that the highway weaves through is a good depiction of the type of music the 48’s play. With influences of Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Little Feat, and a heavy dose of southern rock sounds, the 48’s offer a wide array of musical genres that include outlaw country, bluegrass and a rockin twang that will get you to move your feet.
