The Band

Seamus Turner and the 48’s are a country infused rock band named after Florida State Road 48 and comprised of Seamus Turner (guitar/vocals), Pat Mooney (bass), Mark Pollera (drums), and Elliott Countess (lead guitar). The picturesque countryside that the highway weaves through is a good depiction of the type of music the 48’s play. With influences of Waylon Jennings, George Jones, Little Feat, and a heavy dose of southern rock sounds, the 48’s offer a wide array of musical genres that include outlaw country, bluegrass and a rockin twang that will get you to move your feet. If you dig that high lonesome sound combined with some rockin tunes that’ll get you swaying, you are encouraged to go see S.T. and the 48’s!
